Description

  • Advise on cybersecurity risks, programs, technologies, incidents, and changing legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead legal responses to cybersecurity incidents and investigations, including response strategy, obligations, and communications.
  • Develop strategies to investigate, disrupt, and pursue bad actors targeting DoorDash and its stakeholders.
  • Own cross-functional projects involving cybersecurity legal advice, digital investigations, and programmatic enforcement.
  • Collaborate across the legal team and broader company to provide practical guidance on complex security issues.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of legal experience and a Juris Doctor degree.
  • Authorization to practice law in the U.S. state where located.
  • Experience in a law firm, government, or in-house legal department.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, cybercrime, enforcement, commercial litigation, technology, or related legal matters.
  • Strong legal judgment and ability to make decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
  • Ability to understand complex legal and technical issues and translate them into practical advice.
  • Experience leading complex, high-stakes matters under pressure.
  • Prosecutorial or government experience handling cybercrime, fraud, technology investigations, or enforcement is preferred.
  • Experience working with law enforcement or pursuing civil or criminal actions against bad actors is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity laws, regulatory investigations, incident response, and disclosure obligations is preferred.
