Description

  • Partner with merchants, sales, support, product, and engineering teams to reimagine core experiences through AI.
  • Own high-priority AI initiatives and serve as the accountable business owner for revenue-driving bets.
  • Lead business planning cycles and develop go-to-market strategies for AI-powered products and capabilities.
  • Manage execution through structured project plans, resource allocation, and KPI tracking.
  • Define what should be measured, why it matters, and how performance thresholds should be set.
  • Build and localize business metrics and measurement frameworks across geographies and market types.
  • Drive AI adoption across DoorDash by enabling non-technical teams with enterprise tools, workflows, and experimentation sandboxes.
  • Build scalable AI foundations including evaluation datasets, guardrails, monitoring systems, and custom foundation model strategies.
  • Operationalize frontier technologies from external partners into production systems and revenue-generating capabilities.
  • Lead rapid experimentation cycles to validate product-market fit and measure business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, management consulting, business operations, business analytics, or high-growth/early-stage startup environments.
  • Exceptional communication and operational leadership skills for working with merchants, sales, support, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous, fast-moving problems.
  • Comfort working in 0-to-1 environments and frontier-AI research contexts.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tooling such as Claude Codex, Codex, or Cursor in day-to-day work.
  • Direct experience productizing LLM/ML systems, such as shipping features, building eval datasets, or running model-performance feedback loops, is a strong plus.

  • Base salary of $124,000 to $155,000 USD, depending on location and experience.
