Description

  • Review technical manuals, maintenance requirements, and engineering drawings to ensure logistics support is accurate and complete.
  • Use DoD and Navy logistics systems, including NALCOMIS, R-Supply, PMS, and PMSMIS, to support ordering, tracking, reporting, and maintenance management.
  • Prepare written correspondence and provide verbal recommendations on product support and maintenance concepts and requirements.
  • Coordinate with Logistics Element Managers to verify the technical accuracy of Integrated Logistics Support products.
  • Develop provisioning plans, schedules, and supply support management plans for new programs, systems, and equipment.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Team and technical exchange meetings.
  • Support the delivery and maintenance of Product Support Strategy documentation, including sustainment metrics, risks, and Integrated Product Support elements.
  • Draft, deliver, and maintain ILS products, including nomenclature requests.
  • Support the management and execution of Engineering Change Proposals, Technical Directives, and modifications.
  • Serve as a logistics representative during design phases, including Configuration Control Boards and Change Implementation Boards.
  • Prepare periodic status reports, meeting materials, plans, schedules, and executive program briefings.
  • Develop Quick Reference Guides and Training Support Packages, including curriculum and training aids for radio equipment.
  • Support RCM processes, Maintenance Requirement Cards, and Maintenance Index Pages.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 years of experience with a Master’s degree or 14 years with a Bachelor’s degree in defense life-cycle acquisition logistics support of electronic systems.
  • At least 6 years of experience supporting C4ISR or similar systems.
  • Experience analyzing contracts, system design specifications, engineering/systems management data, and developing logistics plans and procedures.
  • Experience supervising Logistics Specialists.
  • DAWIA certification in Lifecycle Acquisition Logistics Advanced/Level 3, or equivalent life cycle logistics training, or an additional 3 years of direct defense life-cycle logistics experience.
  • Familiarity with Navy APL updates.
  • Familiarity with the Regional Maintenance and Modernization Coordination Office (RMMCO).
  • Direct working experience with CDMD-OA and/or MBPS in support of U.S. Navy configuration management processes.
  • Active Secret clearance required upon entry.
