Description

  • Design, build, and own CI/CD pipeline architecture for Angular, Java, and PHP application teams.
  • Lead infrastructure-as-code strategy and standards using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Architect and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Partner with full stack developers and manual QA testers to improve release engineering practices.
  • Drive system reliability, performance monitoring, and security posture across environments.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Own compliance efforts for applicable federal security and configuration management requirements.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior DevOps engineers.
  • Lead incident response efforts and participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Establish and maintain documentation for pipelines, infrastructure, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure automation role.
  • Proven track record designing and owning CI/CD pipeline architecture using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Advanced experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools.
  • Strong hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Deep understanding of version control workflows and branching strategies using Git.
  • Experience architecting solutions across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
  • Prior experience supporting federal government or defense-related programs is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal security and compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, RMF, and ATO processes.
  • An active or prior security clearance is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to meet client eligibility requirements for a federal engagement.
  • Must be available to work core hours aligned to U.S. Eastern Time.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred but not required.
