Description

  • Perform general ledger postings, including fixed assets, depreciation, cost-center allocations, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and support balance sheet reconciliations and transactional reviews.
  • Process corporate accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and payment applications.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly general ledger, accounts receivable, and cash reports.
  • Assist with the monthly close process and preparation of financial statements.
  • Support budgeting, loan covenant reporting, financial statement analysis, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger accounting system, including the chart of accounts and subaccount list.
  • Communicate with banks and other agencies to resolve issues and respond to inquiries professionally.
  • Assist with audit preparation and responses.
  • Update and maintain policies and procedure documentation.

Requirements

  • Accounting university diploma.
  • 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with accurate grammar and the ability to read and interpret written information.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and across departments in a professional, collaborative manner.
  • Strong work standards, attention to detail, and tenacity in completing tasks.
  • Ability to contribute to problem-solving and decision-making using the best available information.
  • CPA preferred, not required.

Benefits

  • Full-time remote work arrangement.
  • Salary range of $80,000 to $83,200 per year.
