Description

  • Verify healthcare providers’ credentials, including licensure, education, training, and certifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records for healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to collect credentialing information.
  • Resolve credentialing issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives related to credentialing processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in medical credentialing within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience with DEA, state licensing, and malpractice insurance enrollment or renewals (preferred).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to problem solve and work with urgency.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments and comfort navigating ambiguity and change.
