Description

  • Set multi-year brand direction, principles, visual frameworks, and success measures.
  • Build brand architecture and governance for products, sub-brands, and co-branded experiences.
  • Own a tokenized design system connecting marketing and product surfaces.
  • Lead website re-architecture, design system adoption, CMS evaluation, and performance optimization for dispel.com.
  • Define accessibility, performance, motion, and quality standards for web experiences.
  • Develop interactive and motion systems, including reusable Rive patterns.
  • Partner with Marketing on SEO strategy, information architecture, templates, and schema.
  • Orchestrate integrated launches across web, events, content, and product.
  • Direct agencies, vendors, and freelancers through briefs, quality standards, and reviews.
  • Coach designers, influence executives, and manage brand governance, transitions, onboarding, and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in brand and web design with a portfolio demonstrating strategic leadership, systems thinking, and high-quality execution.
  • Experience setting organizational brand direction, principles, and governance.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and daily use of GenAI design tools.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms such as Framer and HubSpot and modern web standards.
  • Experience leading major web initiatives, including re-architecture, design system adoption, or platform migration, with measurable results.
  • Experience directing external agencies, vendors, and freelancers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-alignment skills across design, marketing, engineering, and executive teams in a remote-first environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across brand, web, and cross-functional programs.
  • Frontend development experience with React, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript preferred.
  • Experience with Rive, advanced animation, technical or cybersecurity products, tokenized design systems, high-stakes rebrands, or GenAI content pipelines preferred.
