Description

  • Lead end-to-end product design across the admin dashboard, native applications, and core platform workflows.
  • Use AI and code to prototype, test ideas, synthesize research, and ship explorations engineers can build on.
  • Partner with product managers and engineering leads to navigate technical constraints and make informed trade-offs.
  • Work within and extend the product design system through critique, review, and proposal-based iteration.
  • Drive accessibility improvements and contribute to WCAG-aligned, inclusive design patterns.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning with a design perspective grounded in user needs.
  • Review implemented work and close design gaps directly with engineering when needed.
  • Design across the brand and web surface, including dispel.com, campaigns, events, and internal communications.
  • Lead major sections of dispel.com end-to-end, including information architecture, motion, and shipped implementation.
  • Produce brand assets and systems for campaigns, events, presentations, signage, collateral, and digital marketing.
  • Build motion, interactive systems, and short-form video assets for campaigns, social, and events.
  • Collaborate with SEO, marketing, product, and leadership in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of design experience spanning both product design and brand/web design.
  • A senior-level portfolio showing strong work on both product and brand/web projects.
  • Daily fluency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Figma AI, Midjourney, or v0.
  • Demonstrated builder mentality with shipped websites, prototypes, or product features end to end.
  • Strong ability to work within and extend design systems created by others.
  • Relentless attention to detail in spacing, alignment, color, hierarchy, and production quality.
  • Working comfort with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, including reading and writing code.
  • Working knowledge of motion design and video editing, including Rive or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and a modern CMS such as Framer or HubSpot.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort aligning across engineering, product, marketing, and leadership in a remote-first setting.
  • Bonus: shipped production code using React, Next.js, Tailwind, or similar.
  • Bonus: built custom AI tooling such as GPTs, agents, prompt pipelines, Cursor rules, or Figma plugins.
  • Bonus: working knowledge of shader-based or creative coding tools such as Three.js, Paper.js, Unicorn Studio, or GLSL.
  • Bonus: experience with high-security, compliance-sensitive, infrastructure, OT/ICS, or industrial environments.
  • Bonus: background modernizing legacy products through systematic design evolution.
  • Bonus: experience producing complex event and experiential design.
  • Bonus: a side project, indie product, or personal site that demonstrates initiative and craft.
