Description

  • Own the end-to-end RAG pipeline from data ingestion through response generation.
  • Design and optimize Azure AI Search indexing, chunking, metadata, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and performance strategies.
  • Build prompt orchestration frameworks with dynamic prompt assembly and context injection.
  • Design AI agents and workflows that use tools, plan tasks, and execute multi-step actions.
  • Integrate agents with APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Develop evaluation frameworks for retrieval quality, agent performance, and answer correctness.
  • Implement guardrails for safety, hallucination reduction, and policy compliance.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver agentic AI use cases.
  • Create reusable AI development patterns and tooling while contributing to AI governance practices.
  • Monitor systems and improve reliability, relevance, latency, cost, and user outcomes based on metrics and feedback.

Requirements

  • Production experience building or maintaining RAG systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure AI Search, Elasticsearch, or similar search technologies.
  • Experience with hybrid keyword/vector search, reranking, information retrieval, embeddings, and vector databases.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI agents and agentic workflows with tool use, planning, and multi-step orchestration.
  • Experience integrating agents with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, ticketing platforms, APIs, and databases.
  • Knowledge of generative AI evaluation methods, including RAGAS and LLM-as-a-judge approaches.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and LLM orchestration tools.
  • Experience optimizing AI systems for scale, latency, cost, and production reliability.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into concrete, maintainable AI architectures and demonstrate measurable performance improvements.
  • Current and continuing unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
