Description

  • Develop and manage stock budgets aligned with business targets and seasonal demand.
  • Forecast inventory requirements based on sales trends, promotions, and operational needs.
  • Manage ordering of retail and professional-use hair and beauty products.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and distributor relationships, including pricing and supply negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate stock records across inventory systems and POS platforms.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, expired inventory, shrinkage, and waste.
  • Conduct stocktakes, cycle counts, and reconciliations between physical stock and system records.
  • Prepare reports on stock valuation, cost control, variances, movement, turnover, and product performance.
  • Collaborate with salon managers, stylists, retail teams, finance, and procurement departments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cosmetic product handling standards while improving inventory processes.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in stock or inventory management within hair & beauty, cosmetics, salon, retail, or wholesale environments.
  • Strong understanding of professional and retail hair & beauty product ranges.
  • Experience managing high-volume inventory and product turnover.
  • Knowledge of salon operations, colour systems, and usage patterns preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage stock budgets and maintain cost controls.
  • Strong reconciliation and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems, POS platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to analyse sales trends, stock movement, and product performance data.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Relevant qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related field is advantageous.
