Description

  • Provide first- and second-line technical support to clients and internal users.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, identity, access, endpoint, and application issues.
  • Manage incidents and service requests while maintaining accurate service desk records.
  • Support first-line colleagues with complex technical issues.
  • Communicate with clients through phone, email, and other support channels, providing clear updates through resolution.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 accounts, onboarding, offboarding, permissions, and access changes.
  • Support Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID administration.
  • Follow information security policies, report risks or incidents, and handle information securely.
  • Escalate specialist infrastructure and security issues appropriately.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and the ongoing development of the IT support service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in second-line IT support, service desk, or managed support environments.
  • Experience resolving escalated and technically complex support issues.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with user accounts, permissions, identity, and access management.
  • Understanding of Windows devices, endpoint management, and business applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence managing client expectations.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues, support less experienced colleagues, and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Good understanding of information security, documented processes, phishing, and cybersecurity risks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, IT service management or ticketing systems, and relevant Microsoft or Identity and Access Administrator Associate certifications is preferred.
