Description

  • Lead client social media strategy, brand voice, content strategy, and community management.
  • Build client relationships and translate business objectives and marketing priorities into social programs.
  • Manage and mentor Social Media Managers, providing strategic guidance and support.
  • Translate campaign moments, announcements, creative assets, and marketing beats into social-first storytelling.
  • Oversee quality assurance for content calendars, copy, publishing, and community management.
  • Manage account operations, including timelines, approvals, deliverables, scope, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, talent, and community teams on gaming-focused ideas.
  • Identify opportunities to build fandom, encourage conversation, and increase audience engagement.
  • Monitor gaming culture, platform behavior, emerging formats, and online community sentiment.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of social media experience, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Strong personal affinity for video games and gaming culture.
  • Professional experience with gaming, entertainment, or fandom-driven brands preferred.
  • Understanding of gaming marketing, including announcements, trailers, launches, creators, community engagement, and ongoing social storytelling.
  • Familiarity with AAA gaming and console/PC platforms; action, shooter, or narrative-driven titles are a plus.
  • Understanding of gaming audiences across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Reddit, Discord, and other community platforms.
  • Experience managing passionate fan communities while welcoming new audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional campaigns and mentoring social media managers.
  • Strong client communication, relationship management, collaboration, project management, and deadline-management skills.
  • Must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the U.S., and be available Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. PST.
