Description

  • Create, maintain, and execute automated tests.
  • Investigate test failures and resolve issues in automated tests.
  • Execute Load, Stress, Spike, and Soak/Endurance performance tests.
  • Record latency, response time, throughput, error rates, and HTTP response codes.
  • Monitor performance metrics using AWS CloudWatch.
  • Review test results and identify anomalies and basic performance failures.
  • Report testing issues and performance findings to intermediate and senior team members.

Requirements

  • Up to 1.5 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
  • Understanding of software testing principles and QA practices.
  • Basic programming or scripting skills in Python or Scala.
  • Basic knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, headers, payloads, and API status codes.
  • Ability to execute tests, review results, and identify unexpected behavior.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Basic understanding of performance testing concepts and metrics.
  • Familiarity with JMeter, Locust, or Gatling is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, AWS CloudWatch, Linux command line, and Git is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or courses, such as ISTQB CTFL, AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, or JMeter/Locust training, are preferred.
