Description

  • Develop software from requirements gathering through coding and testing.
  • Build and maintain backend services for client systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve problems and resolve issues.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to the team.
  • Research problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Work in an Agile development environment supporting mission-critical federal projects.
  • Learn new technologies and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understand complex business processes and how they map to the systems being supported.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a development environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript and React UI or related UI frameworks such as Angular.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing back-end services with Node.js.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with AWS Cloud Tools.
  • At least 1 year of experience writing SQL and working with relational database structures.
  • US citizenship required and ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust.
  • Strong ability to understand complex business processes and system dependencies.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps tools such as Git and Jenkins is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda or DynamoDB is preferred.
  • Experience with SPA concepts and libraries is preferred.
  • ICE cleared, USCIS, CBP, Top Secret, or other DHS/government clearance is preferred.
