Description

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the Middle East defense sector.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and tenders.
  • Ensure bid and proposal compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Destinus defense solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, the competitive landscape, and procurement frameworks to uncover opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, and finance teams to align on business objectives.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts to secure favorable terms and support project execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, procurement teams, and other defense ecosystem partners.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or procurement within the defense sector.
  • Proven experience in the UAV/drone industry or government procurement is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Middle East defense ecosystem, including procurement processes and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with an extroverted personality.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the Middle East and internationally to represent Destinus at events.
  • Experience working with government tenders, procurement processes, or defense technology sales is preferred.
  • Background in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in the defense industry is preferred.
