Description

  • Analyze business problems using quantitative methods such as data mining, predictive modeling, forecasting, and applied statistics.
  • Work with clients to shape business and data strategy.
  • Present analytical approaches and findings to Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, Sales, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute data-driven business processes.
  • Assess client data portfolios, data tools, and data applications.
  • Manage data ecosystems including ETL, data governance, reporting, and insights.
  • Participate in the technical design of systems, schemas, and pipelines.
  • Recommend technical solutions that align with business needs.
  • Support peers and new hires by sharing best practices.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and communicate project status clearly.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of applied analytics experience in sales, finance, marketing, product, or engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in discovery and assessment of client data portfolios, data tools, and data applications.
  • 2+ years of data management and consulting experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) and GitHub.
  • Experience designing and building data solutions from discovery through delivery for clients and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, writing, project management, presentation, cross-functional collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to use LLMs and AI coding tools, with interest in the AI transformation of analytics.
  • Knowledge of Python, R, Matlab, or SPSS for applied statistics, data analysis, or machine learning (nice to have).
