Description

  • Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and business needs.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with customers throughout their cloud journey.
  • Design hybrid cloud architectures combining Brightsolid Cloud, Cisco datacentre, and wide area networking solutions.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with customer budgets and requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on security and hybrid cloud technologies for internal teams and customers.
  • Support strategy and development of future solutions with technology and product management teams.
  • Scope existing customer and prospect environments to inform recommended technical solutions.
  • Own the architecture through implementation and work closely with project and engineering teams.
  • Stay current on cloud and security trends and share knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a technical or presales role focused on cloud technology.
  • Strong understanding of virtualisation, networking, storage, and security concepts.
  • Experience with OpenStack or VMware technologies, ideally open source OpenStack.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco networking and security solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Security or Security Operations.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable: Red Hat / Canonical OpenStack experience.
  • Desirable: Kubernetes experience.
  • Desirable: Cisco certifications.
