Description

  • Architect production-level AI tooling deployments that meet security, networking, and data integration requirements.
  • Build and maintain internal AI tooling infrastructure for demos, learning, proof-of-concepts, and production workflows across cloud and Databricks-based environments.
  • Define standards, best practices, and reusable patterns for the internal AI tooling stack to support consistent, scalable use across the department.
  • Build context management infrastructure for agent networks, including vector databases, knowledge bases, and retrieval systems.
  • Design and implement system integrations that bring enterprise data into AI applications through secure and reliable data flows.
  • Develop internal applications that streamline Field Engineering workflows and improve demo and builder environments.
  • Instrument the AI tooling stack, build dashboards, and track adoption metrics, productivity gains, and ROI.
  • Manage AI tooling infrastructure costs, capacity, and automation to reduce operational overhead as teams scale.
  • Partner with Scale and Technical Enablement teams to create documentation, training materials, and AI-powered development patterns.
  • Support Solution Architects with custom proof-of-concept environments, tooling configurations, and technical guidance for customer engagements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role.
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture in AWS, Azure, or GCP, including serverless architecture.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development platforms such as Databricks AI Assistant, Claude Code, or Cursor, plus prompt engineering and AI workflow automation.
  • Experience with vector databases, RAG, embedding models, knowledge base systems, and multi-agent orchestration.
  • Experience building internal tools and web applications with TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or similar modern stacks.
  • Experience with instrumentation, telemetry systems, dashboards, adoption tracking, and data visualization.
  • Experience designing integrations between enterprise systems, ETL processes, API design, data synchronization, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with platform security, network security, data security, GenAI/model security, encryption, vulnerability management, compliance, secure API integration, identity management, and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps tools such as Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows.
  • Deep specialty expertise in at least one of the following: security, system integrations and application deployment, or developer experience and AI tooling.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Python; proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript is highly desirable.
  • Experience with modern web application frameworks such as React and Next.js is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AI platforms and AI workflow automation.
  • 2+ years of experience with data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and data pipelines, plus modern application architectures.
  • Experience building solutions on Databricks is a big plus.
  • Ability to meet technical training expectations and role-specific outcomes within 6 months of hire.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $180,000 to $247,500 USD, depending on location.
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus.
