Description

  • Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks across multiple enterprise accounts.
  • Define and direct the technical strategy for assigned accounts in partnership with the Enterprise Account Executive.
  • Lead customers on a transformational journey to evaluate, adopt, and expand use of Databricks solutions and ML/AI.
  • Design, coordinate and oversee proofs of concept and product demonstrations with hands-on resources.
  • Build and cultivate technical champions within customer organizations to drive wider and deeper adoption.
  • Align account-level technical strategies around Databricks solutions and integrate them with customer initiatives.
  • Establish, lead and coordinate virtual, cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes within accounts.
  • Provide structured mentorship and technical guidance to other team members and peers.
  • Present compelling technical points-of-view to executives and key decision-makers to influence buying decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven pre-sales experience helping large enterprises become more data-driven.
  • Experience working with very large, global accounts (>$1M ARR).
  • Demonstrated ability in technical account management, value selling, and technical leadership.
  • Technical background in big data, data science and cloud technologies.
  • Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java.
  • Ability to drive data-driven business transformation and communicate business value from data/ML.
  • Strong experience forming relationships with executives and other influencers and presenting to decision-makers.
  • Proficiency establishing and leading virtual teams across stakeholders and technical resources.
  • Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
  • Location: candidates in NY, NJ, MA, CT, PA encouraged; open to remote candidates in other Northeastern US cities.

Benefits

  • Zone-based salary ranges (expected): Zone 1 $180,000—$247,500; Zone 2 $161,300—$225,800; Zone 3 $180,000—$247,500; Zone 4 $180,000—$247,500 USD.
  • Potential eligibility for annual performance bonus and equity (stock) as part of the total compensation package.
