Description

  • Design and build reference architectures and productionize customer use cases on the Databricks platform.
  • Create technical documentation, how‑to guides, and deliver training to customers.
  • Scope professional services engagements in collaboration with engagement managers and customers.
  • Guide strategic customers through end‑to‑end design, build, migration and deployment of big data and AI applications, including third‑party migrations.
  • Consult on architecture and design and bootstrap or implement customer projects to enable evaluation and adoption of Databricks.
  • Provide escalated technical support for customer operational issues during engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal Technical, Project Management, Architect, Engineering, and Customer Support teams to deliver technical components and drive rapid resolution of product/implementation issues.
  • Complete billable projects to specification while maintaining excellent customer service and managing delivery timelines and scope.

Requirements

  • Current U.S. government clearance required (Secret or Top Secret).
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
  • Comfortable writing code in Python or Scala.
  • Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
  • Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and MLOps for production deployments.
  • Experience designing and deploying performant end‑to‑end data architectures.
  • Experience with technical project delivery, including managing scope and timelines.
  • Strong documentation and whiteboarding skills and experience working with clients and managing conflicts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience; ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
