Description

  • Serve as the post-sales technical lead and trusted advisor for customers' top-priority Databricks use cases.
  • Design, implement, and scale secure, scalable data and AI architectures.
  • Work with customer technical teams from development through go-live, addressing technical challenges, blockers, and best-practice enablement.
  • Lead the technical account strategy and execution plan for strategic customer accounts.
  • Own production and go-live status tracking across multiple use cases in large and complex organizations.
  • Coordinate with Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding, Technical Services, Support, and expert technical teams to resolve issues outside direct scope.
  • Create and execute plans to accelerate key use cases into production, including coordination with Professional Services proposals.
  • Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
  • Develop execution plans covering enablement, product adoption, cloud cost optimization, governance, and executive/operational oversight.
  • Provide KPI reporting and internal/external updates on usage, customer health, risks, blockers, adoption, and use-case progress.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience delivering projects in Data, Analytics, or AI.
  • Experience contributing to technical discussions and design decisions with customers.
  • Programming experience in PySpark, SQL, or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed data and analytics system architecture.
  • Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
  • Understanding of how to connect business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
  • Technical program coordination experience, including account and stakeholder management.
  • Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer technical stakeholders.
  • Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar performance targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Experience with data architecture, data engineering, data warehousing, or data science is essential.
