Description

  • Develop GenAI solutions that apply the latest Databricks AI research to solve customer problems.
  • Own production rollouts of consumer-facing and internal GenAI applications.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across a variety of domains.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and developer relations to shape priorities and influence the product roadmap.
  • Support internal subject matter expert teams as needed.
  • Present at conferences and represent the team as a thought leader internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Experience building GenAI applications such as RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, and fine-tuning.
  • Experience using tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy.
  • Experience deploying production-grade GenAI applications, including evaluation and optimization.
  • Extensive hands-on industry experience in data science using tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
  • Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience communicating or teaching technical concepts to both non-technical and technical audiences.
  • Preferred: Experience using the Databricks Intelligence Platform and Apache Spark™ to process large-scale distributed datasets.
  • Willingness to travel once every 4-8 weeks to meet customers as needed.
