Description

  • Lead the installation, startup, and commissioning of process equipment and utility systems at treatment facilities across North America.
  • Develop installation plans, schedules, and project execution strategies for expansions, upgrades, and new site builds.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, project managers, and operations teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage procurement, technical review, and integration of equipment such as autoclaves, wash systems, boilers, compactors, compressors, and conveyors.
  • Interpret and verify mechanical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, submittals, and field changes to ensure installation quality and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues during installation and startup.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, LOTO, and site safety requirements.
  • Support operator training, documentation, and CMMS implementation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial equipment installation, manufacturing engineering, facility construction, maintenance, field service, or commissioning.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience on industrial machinery, including conveyors, drives, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, automation systems, and industrial controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Proven problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time.
  • Post-offer background check and drug testing required.
