Description

  • Manage the medical file review process for completed referrals.
  • Review reports accompanying medical records to confirm all client questions have been answered.
  • Follow up with reviewers to obtain additional information or clarifications.
  • Follow up with clients when additional questions arise.
  • Update clients regularly on referral progress.
  • Ensure reports are grammatically correct and free of spelling errors.
  • Verify each referral meets the QA checklist before completion.
  • Format reports for approval.
  • Communicate clearly between customers, reviewers, and the Operations team.
  • Speak confidently with physicians and clients about peer review content.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
  • Experience working with technology-based business processes.
  • Strong communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform work that may involve lifting, bending, traveling, long periods of sitting, and extended computer use.
  • Must supply and support own internet service for work from home.
  • Must maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for work from home.
