Description

  • Review completed medical reports and accompanying records to confirm all client questions have been addressed.
  • Follow up with reviewers to obtain additional clarifications or answers when needed.
  • Follow up with clients when additional questions arise during the review process.
  • Provide frequent updates to clients on referral progress.
  • Ensure reports are grammatically correct and free of spelling errors.
  • Verify each referral meets the QA checklist before completion.
  • Format reports for approval.
  • Communicate clearly between customers, reviewers, and the Operations team.
  • Speak confidently with physicians and clients about the content of peer reviews.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
  • Experience working with technology-based business processes.
  • Strong communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform job duties involving lifting, bending, traveling, long periods of sitting, and computer work.
  • Must supply and support own internet service for a work-from-home role.
  • Must maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for remote work.
