Description

  • Intake new cases and verify referral information before entering details into the Dane Street system (AccessDS).
  • Work with clients to resolve missing or incomplete information needed to process claims.
  • Sort, organize, and create medical document listings when required by the client and special handling rules.
  • Monitor, process, and track cases to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assign and schedule cases to physicians based on location, availability, guidelines, jurisdiction, and client requirements.
  • Check for conflicts of interest before assigning physicians to cases.
  • Provide frequent updates to clients on cases in progress.
  • Communicate with clients and physicians when referral information needs clarification or additional documentation.
  • Ensure proper documentation is provided to clients for specified cases.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or clerical role in a business office environment.
  • Experience in a healthcare-related environment such as a medical office or insurance claims setting is preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills; Apple operating system, Google Chrome, and Gmail are preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort speaking to clients, claimants, and physicians.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and quickly changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Associate’s degree is preferred.
  • Must supply and support your own internet service for this work-from-home role.
  • Must maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for the duration of work shifts.
