Description

  • Intake new cases and verify referral information before system drafting.
  • Enter case information into the Dane Street AccessDS system and complete proper case setup.
  • Work with clients to obtain missing information needed to process claims.
  • Sort, organize, and create medical document listings when required.
  • Monitor, process, and track cases to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assign and schedule new cases to physicians based on location, availability, guidelines, jurisdictional requirements, and client needs.
  • Check for conflicts of interest before assigning physicians to cases.
  • Update clients regularly on case status and progress.
  • Communicate questions on referral information to ensure proper documentation is provided to reviewers.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
  • Good communication skills and a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
  • Able to communicate with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform work involving long periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Ability to handle any lifting, bending, or traveling required for the role.
