Description

  • Gather business requirements with stakeholders and translate them into BI solutions.
  • Design and develop complex Power BI dashboards for executive and operational use.
  • Build and optimize analytical data models using star schemas.
  • Create advanced DAX measures and logic, including CALCULATE, context transition, and time intelligence.
  • Implement Row-Level Security in Power BI solutions.
  • Administer Power BI Service workspaces, gateways, dataflows, and applications.
  • Migrate reports from Excel to Power BI.
  • Document solutions and apply BI best practices.
  • Analyze KPIs continuously and improve existing analytical models.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams in agile project environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing solutions with Power BI.
  • Advanced DAX knowledge is required.
  • Strong experience in analytical data modeling and star schema design.
  • Experience administering Power BI Service, including workspaces, gateways, dataflows, and apps.
  • Experience with Row-Level Security administration.
  • Experience with SQL, including T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
  • Advanced Power Query skills with the M language.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Pivot, pivot tables, calculated fields, and advanced formulas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • PL-300 certification or equivalent knowledge aligned with the certification.
  • Experience in multiple BI projects across different industries is preferred.
  • Power BI Embedded experience is a plus.
  • Additional certifications in Power BI, Azure, or Data are a plus.
