Description

  • Partner with Solutions Engineers as a technical expert and escalation point on sales opportunities.
  • Scope complex technical requirements and write responses for customer opportunities.
  • Present technical solutions to support winning new business.
  • Engage prospective and current customers to understand technical challenges, business goals, and integration needs.
  • Design, document, and present solutions for integrations, security, data exchange, and implementation.
  • Assess and mitigate technical risks and blockers that could affect sales wins or delivery.
  • Liaise between implementation teams and sales teams to transfer technical knowledge for successful implementations.
  • Contribute enablement materials and reusable assets for internal teams.
  • Work with Implementation, Sales, and Product Management teams to close information gaps.
  • Advise on positioning implementation and consulting services needed to achieve customer goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in education technology, especially LMS administration and integration.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Brightspace is required.
  • Experience in a technical sales, consulting, or similar client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with the enterprise software sales process; sales support experience is an asset.
  • Understanding of LMS ecosystems and integration needs, including SIS, HRIS, AMS, CRM, SAML/SSO, LDAP, JIT provisioning, LTI, API, and IPaaS.
  • Knowledge of data integration concepts such as flat file transfer, APIs, relational databases, BI tools, and EDW.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convince and persuade.
  • Experience interpreting RFPs, gathering client requirements, or writing SOWs is an asset.
  • Ability to work remotely with a distributed team and travel occasionally.

  • Base salary range of $85,000–$105,000 CAD.
