Description

  • Oversee multiple concurrent small to medium client implementation projects from start to finish.
  • Determine client requirements and translate them into operational plans.
  • Assess client technical readiness and plan software installation and configuration.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and test standard and custom technical solutions.
  • Configure and integrate D2L products with enterprise systems such as Student Information Systems and Human Resources Systems.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, approvals, status reporting, risks, issues, and changes.
  • Lead status review meetings and present project updates to management and clients.
  • Create communication plans and manage expectations across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain familiarity with D2L Web Services APIs to support custom client integrations.
  • Use AI project management tools and explore AI-assisted improvements across the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management and/or implementation consulting, preferably for software or web solution implementation projects.
  • Professional services or customer service project management and/or implementation consulting experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of project management practices, procedures, and principles.
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end project lifecycle from business case and requirements through development and implementation.
  • Experience with information technology, including systems development lifecycle, business modeling, and systems integration/implementation methodologies.
  • Ability to multitask across many concurrent projects.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Applied Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Project Management certification such as PMP or CAPM, or equivalent experience, is an asset.
  • Experience using AI and automation tools to improve decision-making and workflow efficiency is required.

  • Base salary range of $77,000 to $95,000 CAD.
