Description

  • Manage loan applications from initial document collection through to settlement.
  • Review and analyze complex income documents, including tax returns, financial statements, NOAs, and profit and loss statements.
  • Fact-check data, run calculations, and ensure files comply with BID and lender requirements.
  • Package and submit fully documented loan applications to lenders via ApplyOnline and LIXI.
  • Track, manage, and clear lender requests for more information to move applications to formal approval.
  • Conduct rate reviews and lodge repricing requests with existing lenders.
  • Pull portfolio reports to identify annual review and fixed-rate expiry follow-ups.
  • Draft and send client emails regarding pricing outcomes, rate changes, and refinancing opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and status updates in Connective Mercury or Nexus.
  • Support client review scheduling and follow-up bookings for the Principal Broker.
  • Document and improve repeatable processing workflows using Loom and AI tools.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of direct experience in Australian residential mortgage loan processing.
  • Ability to read and analyze self-employed income documents, including business financial statements and complex tax returns.
  • Proficiency with Connective CRM tools, with Mercury or Nexus experience highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Australian lender policies, ApplyOnline, and broking compliance including BID.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills for client and lender liaison.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems in a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience with SMSF mortgage applications or commercial/asset finance files is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Loom video SOPs and AI-assisted workflow tools is preferred.
