Description

  • Manage client loan applications in ApplyOnline from submission through formal approval and settlement.
  • Perform serviceability assessments using lender calculators or Quickli and ensure figures are accurate.
  • Review complex financial documents and adjust calculations for lender-specific policy variations.
  • Develop loan structure recommendations, LVR exposure guidance, and packaging options to avoid unnecessary cross-collateralization.
  • Prepare client-facing strategy documents and “Game Plans” in clear, professional language.
  • Liaise with lenders and BDMs to resolve approval conditions, request pricing discounts, and clarify policy exceptions.
  • Order valuations, prepare discharge forms, and manage rate-lock confirmations.
  • Review lending policies across national schemes, first-home-buyer grants, state concessions, and postcode restrictions.
  • Maintain strict compliance standards and follow cybersecurity and privacy policies.
  • Draft Statements of Advice and support financial planning administrative tasks (highly desirable).

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in Australian mortgage broking support or loan processing.
  • Strong understanding of Australian lending fundamentals, including LVR, stamp duty/purchase cost separations, and offset accounts versus redraw facilities.
  • Proficiency with major Australian lender serviceability calculators.
  • Ability to use AI productivity tools ethically to support, not replace, analytical judgment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proven ability to write professional, client-friendly strategy documents.
  • Paraplanning experience is highly sought and may support consideration for an expanded full-time role.
  • Direct hands-on experience with the LMG (Loan Market) aggregator network and MyCRM system is preferred.
  • Exposure to complex lending files such as SMSF, bridging, and investment lending is preferred.
  • Interest or experience in workflow optimization and business automation is preferred.
