Description

  • Review designs, drawings, specifications, schedules, and client briefs to determine project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed estimates covering materials, labor, fabrication, installation, transport, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Obtain and compare supplier, fabricator, installer, freight, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Prepare client quotations, professional sales proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Identify scope gaps, assumptions, commercial risks, variations, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain supplier rates, material pricing, estimating records, project documentation, and job information.
  • Prepare purchase orders and coordinate materials, graphics, equipment, outsourced production, and supplier approvals.
  • Support production schedules, logistics, freight bookings, deliveries, budgets, and project timelines.
  • Maintain costs, supplier invoices, and job records in Xero; update CRM records as required.
  • Communicate quotation progress, project costs, deadlines, and risks to Designers, Producers, and the Managing Director.

Requirements

  • More than 4 years of experience in production or joinery estimating, preferably in commercial joinery, shopfitting, exhibitions, signage, or interior fit-outs.
  • Experience preparing detailed quotations, cost estimates, sales proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for estimating, calculations, pricing, and cost analysis.
  • High-level experience with estimating and quotation software.
  • Practical experience using Xero for purchase orders, supplier invoices, job costs, and financial records.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, construction details, and 3D designs.
  • Understanding of custom fabrication, construction materials, labor, installation processes, supplier pricing, and subcontractor costs.
  • Exceptional numerical ability, attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
  • Strong commercial writing, proposal-presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet urgent and changing deadlines; CRM, project-management, production-scheduling, or exhibition-industry experience is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary of AUD 1,900, equivalent to approximately PHP 75,000–81,000.
