Description

  • Prepare Australian individual and business tax returns, including income and expense analysis, rental schedules, CGT, and sole trader schedules.
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, financial statements, and income tax returns for sole traders, companies, and trusts using Xero.
  • Use ATO Online Services for Agents to download reports and support tax compliance activities.
  • Maintain bookkeeping records, fixed asset registers, payroll, and related compliance tasks.
  • Assist with ABN, TFN, and GST registrations, as well as ASIC annual reviews and company changes.
  • Set up and maintain client records in Xero Practice Manager and related systems.
  • Assist with company, trust, and super fund establishment paperwork.
  • Maintain procedures and identify opportunities to improve internal processes and efficiency.
  • Respond to client queries and complete ad hoc tax and accounting projects.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of Australian public practice tax experience; essential and non-negotiable.
  • Strong experience in Australian Business Services and Tax.
  • Ability to manage accounting and tax work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Xero, Xero Tax, Hubdoc, Xero Practice Manager, and QuickBooks or MYOB.
  • Experience using ATO portals and Australian tax systems.
  • SuiteFiles experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Benefits

  • Salary of up to PHP 90,000 per month, negotiable for the right candidate.
  • Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM AEST.
