Description

  • Lead the Payment Operations function and oversee transaction processing across all supported products, markets, and jurisdictions.
  • Monitor, measure, and report performance against operational KPIs for each payment processor.
  • Improve payment success rates, reduce payment-related churn, and optimize transaction routing and payment offerings.
  • Maintain payment infrastructure and PSP availability to achieve 99.9% uptime by jurisdiction.
  • Manage PSP relationships, maintenance windows, and service changes to minimize customer impact.
  • Oversee reporting of payment processing expenses, including PSP fees, settlement costs, and related operational charges.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a globally distributed Financial Operations team to maintain performance, accountability, and service standards.
  • Manage chargeback and dispute processing within agreed SLAs.
  • Collaborate with development and technology teams to improve the customer payment experience and technical integrations with PSPs.
  • Resolve complex payment functionality issues, escalations, and operational or program-related problems.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of high-risk payment operations, including local bank transfers, IBANs, card processing, cryptocurrency payments, and alternative payment methods (APMs).
  • Strong problem-solving ability, with the capability to resolve complex payment operations issues independently when required.
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining accountability for operational outcomes and escalation management.
  • Experience in a CFD brokerage, Payment Service Provider (PSP), or cryptocurrency exchange environment preferred.
  • Experience in a senior payments leadership role such as Senior Payment Operations Manager, Head of Payments, Financial Operations Director, or Payments Lead.
  • Background in a high-risk payment environment, such as a fintech, online trading platform, or similar business.
  • Ability to analyze payment operations data and produce accurate performance reports.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional development and technology teams on payment-related improvements.
  • Familiarity with managing PSP integrations, payment routing, and operational KPIs.
  • Candidate must be suitable for a fully remote or hybrid arrangement based on location and business needs.
