Description

  • Drive high-leverage full-stack projects from concept through delivery and iteration.
  • Develop and enhance user-facing application features.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to define consistent service APIs and frontend integration patterns.
  • Lead cross-team architectural decisions for applications.
  • Produce technical specifications and feature documentation.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for new features.
  • Partner with product owners, AI/ML researchers, physicians, and other stakeholders to define, estimate, and negotiate features using Agile practices.
  • Share expertise and raise engineering standards across areas such as API design, systems, infrastructure, and healthcare data.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of professional full-stack engineering experience, owning features from design through delivery and iteration.
  • Professional React experience, including components, hooks, state management, and performance.
  • Python backend experience, ideally with async frameworks such as FastAPI or Starlette.
  • Experience with NoSQL and relational databases, including DynamoDB and Postgres data modeling.
  • Experience with asynchronous workflows, including background jobs, retries, idempotency, and eventual consistency.
  • Experience using end-to-end testing, visual regression testing, and CI to support frequent releases.
  • Understanding of AWS, Docker, Terraform, AI/ML technologies, Git, and RESTful services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with React Native/Expo, design systems, accessibility, LLM applications, Temporal, or healthcare data standards such as CDA, CCD, and FHIR (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work remotely while physically located in the United States; reliable internet and a secure, private home workspace are required.
