Description

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of predictive market contracts from event identification and market creation through live monitoring, settlement, and dispute resolution.
  • Track live sports, political, and macroeconomic events in real time and adjust market specifications when breaking news affects outcomes.
  • Verify outcomes using authoritative sources such as official league statistics, government releases, and regulatory filings.
  • Draft clear and unambiguous settlement language that covers postponements, cancellations, amended results, and other edge cases.
  • Investigate and resolve settlement disputes under time pressure while maintaining a complete audit trail that meets CFTC standards.
  • Identify process gaps and work with the team to improve and evolve operations.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in sports and familiarity with leagues, storylines, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to stay sharp and make quick decisions under pressure in live-event situations.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to identify authoritative sources rather than relying on search results.
  • Clear and fast written communication for settlement rationales, escalation summaries, and edge case documentation.
  • Humility and willingness to ask questions when unsure.
  • Comfort working with tools and spreadsheets.
  • Basic scripting or data lookup experience is a plus but not required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sports betting operations, prediction markets, derivatives, or a related field (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with binary options, categorical markets, or other exchange-traded products (nice to have).
  • Experience with sports data platforms such as Sportradar or Genius Sports, or political forecasting tools (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of CFTC regulations or exchange compliance basics (nice to have).
  • Must be available for rotational shifts covering evenings, weekends, and holidays, with weekday off-days provided.
