Description

  • Provide technical support to sales, business users, and institutional and retail customers for application, API, and network connectivity issues.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve production incidents with end-to-end ownership.
  • Collaborate with technical and business support teams to escalate and close issues in a timely manner.
  • Own release activities, participate in audit reviews, and execute business continuity plan exercises.
  • Ensure process management aligns with ITIL best practices, SLA targets, and client expectations.
  • Monitor and automate application and infrastructure alerts to support system stability and uptime.
  • Maintain knowledge repositories and standard operating procedures documentation.
  • Identify improvement areas and implement automation and process optimizations to reduce manual work.
  • Improve the service level provided to end users through continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of production support experience, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Experience with UNIX commands for debugging, SQL, and Bash or Python scripting.
  • Previous experience supporting FIX protocol and APIs is required.
  • Strong technical understanding of Linux- and Java-based systems with exposure to cloud technology and DevOps utilities.
  • Good knowledge of monitoring, visualization, and scheduling tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Control-M, ITRS Geneos, or Dynatrace.
  • Strong incident handling and troubleshooting skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • ITIL certification is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience supporting trading systems (OMS/EMS) with exposure to equities, derivatives, FX, or cryptocurrency trading.
  • Ability to work under high pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver to demanding deadlines.
  • Self-starter who can quickly learn new concepts, business areas, and technologies.
  • Open to shift work and weekend support.
