Description

  • Build, lead, and develop a diverse global accounting team with a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Expand accounting capabilities to support growth, close current process gaps, and prepare for future scale.
  • Collaborate across global teams to improve processes and strengthen financial rigor.
  • Lead the transformation of accounting processes, data flows, and systems with a focus on automation, standardization, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with global reporting standards and business needs.
  • Partner with the parent company on strategic financial policies and future-state financial system design.
  • Oversee the global rollout of new financial systems and processes across international teams.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of global financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
  • Partner with Investor Relations to communicate financial performance and key metrics to stakeholders and investors.
  • Oversee global compliance, external audits, and risk management across regions.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team on growth, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Support new market entries and product launches with accounting leadership on tax, compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead the design and negotiation of outsourcing and shared service agreements.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and post-transaction integration efforts.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • 10+ years in a senior leadership role managing global teams.
  • Experience leading accounting functions in a high-growth, global company.
  • Experience in the entertainment, media, or tech sectors preferred.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale ERP financial systems and process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and multi-country compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing complex global operations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • CPA or equivalent certification required.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in English required.
