Description

  • Design financial reporting processes and support restatements and SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
  • Support operational accounting efforts focused on continuous improvement and optimization of finance and accounting functions.
  • Implement new and existing accounting standards.
  • Communicate project findings, updates, and recommendations clearly to clients.
  • Collaborate with CrossCountry and client team members to identify business issues and develop solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients within the accounting advisory practice.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, operational accounting, accounting policy implementation, or complex transactions.
  • Prior experience in professional services, such as public accounting, an advisory firm, or management consulting.
  • Strong operational and technical accounting background with experience researching complex technical accounting issues.
  • Professionalism and discretion when interacting with executives and clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA certification preferred.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, carve-outs, or IPOs preferred.
