Description

  • Lead KPI dashboard development and management reporting for PE sponsors and portfolio companies.
  • Develop, maintain, and support transitions to rolling 13-week cash flow models.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reporting packages with detailed assumptions and key drivers.
  • Act as project manager for key finance initiatives using PMO tools.
  • Support executive leadership with board presentation preparation and interim FP&A work.
  • Prepare OCFO strategy assessments covering people, processes, and technology for new platform investments.
  • Conduct financial due diligence, including buy-side and sell-side quality-of-earnings analyses.
  • Develop carve-out financial statements and support post-closing M&A integration planning.
  • Advise on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, leases, and business combinations.
  • Prepare closing statements, opening balance sheets, and support post-closing negotiations on acquisition balances.
  • Serve in interim Controller or FP&A roles with a focus on process development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of firm-approved AI-enabled client solutions and internal process improvements.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a client-facing role at a public accounting firm or equivalent consulting firm with transaction advisory, restructuring, M&A strategy, deals, or FP&A experience.
  • Alternatively, 6+ years of experience in corporate FP&A managing a team and reporting to senior leadership, with exposure to M&A transactions.
  • Alternatively, 6+ years of experience in corporate development managing a team and reporting to internal or external stakeholders.
  • Alternatively, 6+ years of experience in portfolio support or operations at a private equity firm.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping teams resolve multi-faceted issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA or CA certification preferred.
  • Experience working with private equity or within a highly acquisitive company preferred.
  • Comfort responsibly exploring and adopting firm-approved AI tools to improve productivity and innovation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, depending on client preferences.
