Description

  • Own purchasing activities across multiple product categories, including nicotine and non-nicotine products, accessories, apparel, POS materials, marketing collateral, and future product lines.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage global vendors while negotiating pricing, terms, minimum order quantities, and lead times.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, track confirmations, and resolve delays, discrepancies, and quality issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, freight forwarders, and warehouse partners to monitor production, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery milestones.
  • Partner with FP&A to convert SKU-level revenue forecasts into purchase plans, replenishment schedules, and inventory models.
  • Monitor inventory across warehouses and 3PLs, including stock levels, aging stock, safety stock, shrinkage, and receiving discrepancies.
  • Oversee inventory lifecycle activities such as receiving, costing, landed cost allocation, valuation, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Lead implementation and optimization of ERP/WMS inventory systems, data standards, workflows, and SOPs.
  • Own cycle count schedules and full physical counts, investigate variances, and strengthen internal controls.
  • Prepare inventory-related financial reports, audit schedules, and analysis for management and audit support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or purchasing, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a technology or creative industry is a plus.
