Description

  • Ensure adherence to contractual SLAs and service commitments.
  • Lead urgent issues and projects, communicate status updates, and coordinate staffing resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with development engineering to build and deploy CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Automate deployment of Linux applications, system configurations, and security settings.
  • Deploy and support applications in a cloud environment.
  • Own infrastructure security and help ensure environments are secure, reliable, scalable, and automated.
  • Provide direct server support during deployment activities and general production operations.
  • Work with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements and follow best practices.
  • Design, implement, and test agreed-upon infrastructure solutions.
  • Maintain clear communication and process coordination with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of related professional experience.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tooling.
  • Experience with virtualization of servers, applications, and desktops, including data center requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with open-source tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Chef, and Terraform.
  • Experience with infrastructure tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Exposure to at least one cloud platform: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Basic scripting experience in Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Linux distributions including RHEL 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
