Description

  • Design and develop data models and database schemas.
  • Define data integration and data migration strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize database performance and ensure scalability.
  • Implement data governance policies and data quality standards.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with Apache, Cloudera, and data analysis.
  • Experience in designing databases, building data models, and data mapping.
  • In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data integration techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with cloud-based data technologies such as GCP is preferred.
