Description

  • Build and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys, automations, data extensions and audience processes.
  • Write SQL, AMPscript and platform scripts for segmentation, personalization, suppression and recurring campaign processes.
  • Implement journey eligibility, entry and exit, re-entry, prioritization and frequency rules.
  • Configure CDP data ingestion, customer attributes, identity rules, segments and activation to Marketing Cloud and other destinations.
  • Build and troubleshoot integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Marketing Cloud Connect, connectors and scheduled file transfers.
  • Validate identifiers, field mappings, audience counts, consent and suppression across connected platforms.
  • Support email, SMS and direct-mail execution and investigate automation, import, personalization, audience and journey issues.
  • Partner with analytics and tagging engineers to validate behavioral-event processing, profile updates, audience qualification and communication triggers.
  • Collaborate with client marketing, CRM and data teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues and guide implementation.
  • Document configurations, dependencies, QA results, deployment procedures and operational runbooks.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on marketing technology implementation experience, including substantial production experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience building and troubleshooting journeys, automations and audiences using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder and data extensions.
  • Strong SQL and AMPscript skills, with working JavaScript skills for platform scripting, transformations or integrations.
  • Experience configuring an enterprise CDP, including customer profiles, identity resolution, segmentation and activation.
  • Experience connecting customer data sources or CDP audiences to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with REST APIs, authentication, JSON payloads, scheduled data integrations and tools such as Postman.
  • Understanding of analytics events, data layers and tagging and their impact on customer profiles and activation.
  • Experience implementing consent, communication preferences and suppression rules.
  • Experience working with client technical and business stakeholders, including documentation and troubleshooting.
  • Salesforce Data 360/Data Cloud experience, relevant Salesforce certifications, SSJS, custom journey activities, API-triggered communications, deliverability troubleshooting, analytics/tag management, Snowflake, BigQuery, Python, automotive CRM, or MarTech consulting experience (preferred).
