Description

  • Define and drive product strategy and own the roadmap for a high-priority area of the Coursera platform.
  • Translate customer insights and market trends into integrated solutions that can scale to millions of learners and customers.
  • Lead execution from ideation and analysis through development and launch, delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to deliver AI-powered product features and experiences.
  • Use data and customer feedback to guide decisions and continuously improve products.
  • Mentor peers and help build a high-performing product organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a meaningful portion in assessment, measurement, or skills validation products.
  • Experience building, using, experimenting with, or shipping AI-powered or LLM-integrated products.
  • Familiarity with LLM-as-judge evaluation methods and their failure modes.
  • Deep understanding of skill and competency measurement, beyond completion tracking.
  • Ability to define rubrics, evaluation frameworks, or structured measurement systems at scale.
  • Strong external communication skills to represent product methodology to enterprise security teams, skeptical customers, and regulatory reviewers.
  • Proven track record of moving quickly in an early-stage or startup-pace environment while maintaining rigor.
  • Background in psychometrics, learning science, industrial-organizational psychology, or talent assessment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the EU AI Act and high-risk classification implications for AI systems used in employment or skills contexts is preferred.
  • Experience working with SME panels, grader programs, or human-in-the-loop calibration workflows is preferred.
  • Prior work in skills-based hiring platforms or enterprise skills frameworks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NCME or the broader measurement and assessment professional community is preferred.
  • Experience bridging academic rigor with commercial shipping deadlines is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Figma, or generative AI tools is a plus.
