Description

  • Lead daily end-to-end operations across fulfillment centers, including inbound receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and outbound dispatch.
  • Own key operational metrics such as SLAs, Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), order fulfillment rates, and on-time shipment performance.
  • Allocate manpower, equipment, and consumables based on forecasted volume to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve SOPs to maintain consistent and high-quality operations across sites.
  • Establish rapid-response processes for operational exceptions and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure warehouse facilities comply with 5S standards and local workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct audits and performance reviews of 3PL partners to ensure they meet quality requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize operating expenses, including efforts to reduce Cost Per Unit through process improvement and lean management.
  • Use WMS and data dashboards for real-time monitoring and predictive analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in large-scale e-commerce fulfillment, such as Amazon FBA, JD Logistics, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing peak season operations such as 11.11 or Black Friday in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
  • Strong proficiency in WMS/TMS logic, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodology.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable operational insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage remote teams.
  • Fluency in Japanese is required.
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English, or Korean/Chinese, is preferred for global collaboration.
  • Experience with large-scale fulfillment operations or similar global logistics environments is a plus.
