Description

  • Own problems from discovery through delivery and take accountability for outcomes.
  • Talk directly with users, stakeholders, partners, and peers to define the problem and requirements.
  • Translate business intent into functional requirements that engineers and AI agents can build against.
  • Define and uphold non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
  • Write production-quality code across the full stack, including Python, Django, AWS, React, and PostgreSQL.
  • Direct AI agents, review their output, and improve prompts and patterns over time.
  • Run cross-functional projects, coordinate dependencies, and keep work moving across engineers and agents.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and choose practical solutions that fit a fast-moving startup.
  • Verify the end-to-end result, including documentation, enablement, and usage monitoring.
  • Monitor services in production, participate in support rotations, and debug and fix issues after launch.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building production web applications across the full stack.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership from idea to deployment, including auth, failure handling, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Proficiency with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, or similar tools.
  • Experience gathering requirements directly from users, customers, and partner teams.
  • Experience owning both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Track record of owning a domain or initiative without close supervision.
  • Bias for action and strong accountability for outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Low ego, high EQ, and ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience working with distributed, remote teams.
