Description

  • Own the end‑to‑end personalization roadmap including recommendations, ranking algorithms, adaptive feed, intent modeling, and predictive food preferences.
  • Define a unified personalization strategy spanning discovery, ordering, search, onboarding, and post‑order experiences across the eater journey.
  • Translate customer insights and behavioral data into frameworks for personalized ordering journeys and menu ranking.
  • Partner with Engineering and ML to design, build, and iterate on models that personalize menus, recommendations, and content surfaces.
  • Launch and iterate ML‑powered features such as personalized ranking, contextual suggestion surfaces, food‑intent clustering, dietary preference modeling, and personalization‑aware UX.
  • Drive experimentation and measurement by owning A/B testing, offline/online model evaluation, and metrics frameworks to rigorously quantify lift.
  • Work with Data Science to identify behavioral segments, affinity clusters, and downstream retention impacts.
  • Collaborate with Design, Chefs, Culinary, Growth, CRM, and Marketplace teams to integrate UX, menu metadata, ingredient signals, and personalized acquisition/onboarding/reactivation flows.
  • Improve core funnel and business metrics (conversion rate, add‑to‑cart rate, search success, order retention, frequency, and net AOV) and reduce decision friction for customers navigating large menus.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 4+ years working on personalization, search, recommendations, ML/AI products, or similar domains.
  • Proven ability to drive complex products from concept to launch in fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and technical intuition; ability to work closely with ML and infrastructure teams and reason about relevance, ranking, and experimentation approaches.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms, online metrics, offline model evaluation, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Deep understanding of user behavior analytics, experimentation frameworks, and model evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience building or shipping ML‑powered product features (recommendations, ranking, intent modeling, or similar).
  • Strong user experience instincts and a track record of collaborating closely with design teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, data science, design, and cross‑functional product teams.
  • Collaborative, systems‑oriented, and comfortable simplifying complex technical problems into user‑centric solutions.
