Description

  • Provide strategic, hands-on leadership across all aspects of kitchen operations.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate associates and supervisors while supporting their equipment, training, and quality needs.
  • Oversee recipe consistency, production execution, food safety, quality control, and packaging training.
  • Organize cleaning duties and maintain operational standards across the facility.
  • Ensure successful packaging and execution of allergy meals with close attention to detail.
  • Maintain inventory of smallwares needed for food production.
  • Produce weekly and monthly financial reporting, including forecasting, labor, food cost, and revenue.
  • Promote compliance with food safety and sustainability policies while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with chefs on onboarding and implementation of new menu items.
  • Support direct team growth through performance management and professional development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant, food manufacturing, or high-volume commercial kitchen environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
  • Food Handler's License required.
  • Proficiency with Google apps, including Gmail, Drive, and Spreadsheets.
  • Experience working with and sourcing ingredients.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with high ambiguity and change.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • Conversational Spanish strongly preferred.
